In the last series of blog posts here at Credits Boots, we have been talking about investments. That being so, if you keep up with our content, it might sound weird to see a text with a kinda loose title. However, if you have a lot of capital to invest in the largest fast-food franchise in the world, it is easy to see why we should be talking about McDonald’s.
In our last blog post, we mentioned interesting profitable small businesses. If you have no capital, maybe the present text won’t be more than something educative for you. Independently of how much you make, it is important to hear what we have to say.
In order to find out why is it that McDonald’s is the largest fast-food franchise in the world, you have to consider some criteria. Check them below!
What makes of McDonald’s the largest fast-food franchise in the world
Ok, we should begin by telling you the average income a franchisee of McDonald’s make per month. If you are willing to invest the start-up cost we will mention down below, it is better to tell you how profitable your investment will be. If you have no capital at all, at least you will know something about the big market (and no one should stop dreaming independently of how big your dream is).
The annual profit is known to be around 150 thousand dollars. This is a big, big number. Surely it is responsible for making this the largest fast-food franchise in the world.
Well, here is the hard part of the conversation. In order to acquire a McDonald’s franchise, you will have to pay something close to 1 or 2 million dollars. Besides, you will be expected to pay an initial franchise fee of about 45 thousand dollars and that’s not it. The franchisee must pay, monthly, a service fee that corresponds to 4% of the monthly profit.
Something that also makes of McDonald’s the largest fast-food franchise in the world, is the number of unities spread worldwide. There are about 30 thousand unities distributed inside and outside the United States. You probably know that, since most cities have at least one of them serving our favorite sandwiches.
If you have enough capital, it is evident that the investment in a McDonald’s franchise is extremely profitable. In about 3 or 4 years everything you invested will be returned and you will have a good business to run for all your life. Despite the service fees and everything you must pay to McDonald’s in order to have a franchise, nothing steals from it the status of an extremely good affair.
What do you think? If you have (or had!) money to invest in the largest fast-food franchise in the world, would you do that? Please tell us if you do and also gives some royalties for sharing the idea with you. We might be kidding right now, so don’t take us too seriously.
