Thunberg is one of the biggest names when it comes to activism nowadays. However, Al gore’s work towards environmental awareness is something that has received great recognition as well. Who is Al Gore?

This is a nonprofit organization devoted to solving the climate crisis.

Moreover, in 2007, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for “informing the world of the dangers posed by climate change.” Now that you are aware of that, it is no surprise that the speech of Al Gore in Davos was expected.

Ending his discourse, Gore stated that while the environment is walking towards disaster, “political will is itself a renewable resource”. Words like this set the responsibility for doing something in the audience’s shoulders, but they were received with great applause.
